First of all, you need to realize that primaries have very low voter turnouts, are often restricted to only those registered to that party, and usually can be hijacked by single issue fanatics. This is what happened in CT.

In the general election, he has a clear majority of the voters supporting him; Lamont is unqualified and a lunatic fringe single issue candidate.

He's already said he will be running as an independent but he needs to drop out now. Independents won't vote for him (because they won't be able to trust him...he wasn't independent before and simply saying he's now independent does not make him an independent). Democrats have already made their feelings known. His only hope of winning is that enough undecided Dems and Republicans will vote for him as the "lesser of evils" of whomever the other parties have running.

Depends on who you support. Sen Lieberman holds the cards in this election. Either he wins or he splits the Democratic vote and the GOP wins.

I am not a big fan of Joe Lieberman. I don't see why conservatives love him so much. Anyway, he should run. I bet he could still win.

If I was a betting man, I would bet he will win his seat back.....well, not his seat....he will get another one......and if he does, I hope that the Libs gets the message.......they turn their back on him, and he still wins......that is a strong message to the far left
