How old is your son? May be some of his friends wake him up for a morning jog or somethin. Change your bed so that you face the window and observe around 5.00 for some movement. It will help. Have the house records also checked up from the Land Records office for the antecedants. I pray that it is not haunted. Find out about these minute details from your neighbors also. Good luck!

I would set my alarm for about quater to five and open the curtains a crack so you can see. Or else put some pillows in your bed so they think it's you and hide in a tree or behind a door so ou can get a view of who it is. Chances are it may just be a small child thinking they are playing a fun joke, or someone you know somehow. If you don't know the person, you could either confront them - but if it's a man i wouldn't reccomend this, and ask them what they are doing. If you are not comfortable confronting them and you don't know who it is then I would definatly call the police, or at least a male friend or relative who can confront them for you.
Hope this helps.

Ask your son, maybe it's some dumbass "friend." Yes, I would be terrified (as my bedroom is on the second floor, LOL) and yes, I would notify the police. I would also set my alarm for 4AM and start waiting by the front door with a hefty pipe wrench.

Spread a bunch of feces in the grass outside of that window, itching powder and light a blowtorch to the window pane, they won't set foot back on that property again. The cops might not do anything since the person isn't trying to break in but I can imagine that has to be scary and aggravating.

Get yourself a baseball bat.that's what i would do.
Call some friends of your, explain to them what is happening so they might join you and together you can hide outside and catch the person who is knocking at your window.

that would be a little freaky, its a good thing you called the police. maybe they can set up a steak out and see whats going on. Or maybe you can set you alarm for 4:30am and wait for the knock and catch him or her yourself........

Did you just move in recently? Maybe the person thinks the previous owners still live there.
