i would rather be getting though life with ppl i love than be rich and alone. no one wants to be alone. but ppl that want to be rich have to put a hold on their life to get want they want and when they come back to the ppl or family they have just left then behind. its qutie sad, but it isnt for all ppl. i would rather get through life with my family, my partner and be so happy than alone

It amazes me that everyone so readily chooses poor and happy.
Why would anyone want to choose poor. I guess one would need to define what you mean by "poor". How poor are we talking about here. A little bit poor or so poor you don't know where your next meal is coming from, but you have people that love you or you are happy.
If you have people that love you, then I would assume if you are extremely poor, you would get help from those people.
If you have no one but you are poor and still happy, that is illogical. How can you be poor and lonely but still happy. A catch 22.
I would not be insecure if I was wealthy. I might be miserable, but that is not the same thing.

Definitely not rich and unhappy. But I wonder, how happy can you be with no money? I don't think money brings happiness but it helps big time: it allows you to have a home, food, health, education and many other things that aren't as important but still gives a spice to life.
If I had to chose a lifestyle, I would chose my own. I'm not rich nor poor, but I have what I need, I'm healthy and so are my loved ones. At the end of the day, that's what makes me happy.

If I were rich I wouldn't be insecure... I may be unhappy but in reality I like being alone for the most part and when I would want anyone around I could have them.
Poor and happy is an oximoron. If you don't have a home or food or can't heat your home in the winter you cannot be happy.

Being poor sucks. Even if/when you feel happy for a little while -- you gotta return to reality where it's constant trouble without money.
I'd be very rich and live in my little fantasy world with people of my own making or just pay people to do what I say -- and be ecstatic.

I have been poor and happy but would prefer to be lonely and rich.
If you are rich you don't have the worries of the poor like how you are gonna pay to feed your family and rent.
I'm shallow and would much rather be rich.

I have been poor and happy all of my life and would have it no other way.
What is the point of having money but no-one to share it with or have fun with?
Being poor is cool. There are many more in the same boat and it is great to meet up and discuss ways of saving costs here and there. I think it makes us much better people because we appreciate everything we are given and acheive.

I prefer to be in the middle but if you really let me chose.. I prefer to be poor but happy cos a simple life is the best life of all... when you rich.. u dun know who to trust cos ppl might be planning to steal all your fortune away whereas when you are poor.. u dun have to worry about ppl lying to u .. everyone is treating you honestly and you will be happier this way....

Poor and happy is the way to go, and it's been that way my whole life. It's all I know. I'm nothing without my friends and I hate being loney. If you're loney and rich, who is there to have fun with? Sure, you have the best cars, food, vacations, but nobody to share with!

Never. Chapters of the Fathers gives a great lesson. "Who is rich, one who is HAPPY with his lot." Being rich but lonely and insecure is not being rich at all.
