My sister-in-law says she never watches TV but knows all about the programmes from the TV critics in the newspapers- But she won't let me sell her TV set on eBay. Is this a dead give-away?

most people say they dont watch tv - that means they dont watch it 24/7
there are plenty of ways to find out bout tv from differetn sources so give her a break
why sell her stuff anyway? - it's not yours?

She must watch the TV sometimes! Not every programme is covered by critics in the papers ... and with soaps, you can't possibly know everything that's going on because there are several storylines going on at once.
Besides which, she's a woman - she must watch "Emmerdale" "Coronation Street" "Eastenders" and all that other rubbish - she's probably hooked on "Big Brother" too!

Oh yes, it is a dead give away. What is her problem that she is ashamed to say she watches TV?
I have a friend who claims to HATE any reality TV and says she won't watch. She sure seems to know all about the different shows though.

My mother is exactly the same.
She is here on a two week visit at the moment and although she insists that she never watches the T.V. her eyes have not left the set, she gives a running commentary on vitually everything we watch, yet, strangely, she won't admit to watching anything and insists that she is reading!!!
This is very odd as she has just invested in a brand new HD ready plasma!!

My step dad is just the same. He hates all TV programmes that I enjoy and moans about them constantly. When I have one of these programmes on though he knows everyone's names and story lines!! So annoying.

She watches them alright. I pick up some things about progs I don't watch from the papers but could never go into detail unless I watch them.

Why do you care if she watches television. Maybe she does, but doesn't want one in her house. I have a son that doesn't watch tv, but it's in the house with his brothers.
