Easy. Intolerance, bred by ignorance, fueled by greed, tempered with avarice, propagated by apathy, sustained with racism, created by indoctrination, blinded by fear, deafened by hatred, accepted through hopelessness, recognized by few, condoned by omission, denied by self, forever and for always, and by our own hands.

All in all, rather a sad commentary on the human condition, is it not?

The problem is- we elevate our own status beyond what it should be. We think that we, as people, are masters of the universe and we are perfect and blessed by God. In fact, we are the most self serving, cruel, and destructive beings on the planet. We don't survive here, we seek and destroy. That's not going to change until we end up killing ourselves and bringing everything else down with us... Then maybe the peaceful animals can start over and do things right for once.
