I consider myself a 'former' AIC fan.
I just saw them play at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA last weekend. I left after half the show.
For me, it's not the same without Layne. I suppose I am a purist. I love the studio albums and the MTV unplugged session, but I just can't get into the post-Layne AIC.
I have nothing against the new singer. He seems like a nice guy and sings well, but it's just not the same.
I guess what it comes down to is that you just can't act f**ked up if your really not. Layne wasn't acting - he was the real deal, and it showed. The guy they have now might as well be a high end kareoke version....

loved them but i hear they are touring w/a new lead singer dont know if id like em now or not hopefully they at least changed the band name
