In my opinion a person should know three things before basic.
1. Is the person is "real" or fake (in many cases the correspondence are just chilling with other people)
2. What is his/her intention? Meeting, Talking or some thing inappropriate!
3. Trace his/her words with his/her action or other sentences, you will get the idea.

I recall asking these questions twice in my life....on the first date to know her better.
once in rio de janeiro and the second time in indonesia.
1. How big is big enough for you. (holding a straw and changing the size)
2. Would you like a 3-some.....and in both cases, they said that they would prefer another man...I wanted 2 woman...
3. Where would you like me to *** on you?
4. Do yo like anal sex...

(This way you can tell if he/she is imaginative, has the same dreams as you, or if he/she is even willing to work on their dreams)
