Post 9/11 America is hated more and our millitary is overseas. The boarder is not tight and homeland security is just watching us. I feel less safe than before. They are just creating more terroists. Why do we not have people here guarding us? Not violating us, but protecting us?

i have to agree with you, our taxes are funding a war the govt. wants fought, they use our people and our money to fight a war overseas and get NOWHERE and yet where is our protection? had it not been for some UNDERPAID (I'm sure) person doing their job we would again have seen more devestation 2 days ago. I feel like this if bush and all them feel so strongly about this war, he should save up the money his daughters booze away and then they should go fight the war together, he and the kids are protected every step, what about the rest of us? arent we americans too? didnt we elect him? WHAT ABOUT US???? and to top it off I did 10 yrs in prison for bad checks my boyfriend wrote when i was 18, i was never not once afforded all the prisoner rights that these terrorists get and then our govt. says our soldiers are in the wrong for abuse???? please spare me, what the hell do they think war is all about, it sure isnt about treating somome right, what is fair about the way they attacked our buildings and pentagon? at least they know we are coming, its all over the news about our troops being depolyed, we never even knew what hit us on 9-11 till we were hit, and then the govt. wants the right to listen in on private phone calls, well what happened and why didnt they know about the UK 2 days ago?

The world right now is pretty much a giant game of KING OF THE HILL. America stands at the top right now and everyone else is trying to knock us off and take our place. This has been going on since the dawn of civilization. Everyone wants what the more powerful entity has. The only difference today is that if America AND it's allies fall, the world will be a horrible place to live.

certain, and also you should no longer trust the way this "warfare on terror" has been mishandled. As an American you should help the U. S. militia, that does no longer advise you should help inept civilian administration without question or dissent. this does no longer advise you hate your usa, it merely proves that you care. vote casting, even with who you vote for is a duty that a options too a lot of human beings bypass. vote casting shows that you care. evidently that some Republicans in recent times, even some who replied your question, do hate us of a. They hate that others reviews fluctuate from theirs and throw round words like"traitor". that is HATE.

I do not live in the USA. But i think that the whole western world is safer, true that there are probably more terrorists but the security forces have infiltrated many groups. Look at how many were caught in Britain, recently in Canada. But i don't think we are dealing with these people harshly, the way they deserve it.

I agree...we have sent far too many of our troops to the Iraq area to change history and make them "like us", which really is none of our business to start with. America is famous for its cocky attitude in thnking we are the only way of life. These people have lived this way for hundreds of years and we are not going to change them now. In fact...like a child..if you try to force it on them...they only want to retaliate more to defy you. Our protection is over there...I think we need to get rid of all the non US citizens and stop renewing green cards. Make them get legitimate or get the hell out. We have enough people to try to keep track of without watching those who dont want to be a true American anyway.

Because the people that are supposed to be guarding us are out in the field recruiting more terrorists.
Every bomb that goes of in the middle east is another reason for someone to take revenge by blowing himself up.
