I need a few points on the following topic 'School punishments which should be banned'.....help me out!!

learning should be a pleasure and not a punishment
students/pupils/children should be treated like humans and not animals
any corporal punishment leaves an indelible scar in the minds of the tender children and so these should be avoided
school should be firm and not strict

Well any form of physical punishment as it is abuse. Try detention as it stops students getting their fair share of exercise which could have a bad knock on effect on their health, Extra homework should be banned also as it stresses students out when they are under pressure to study for exams etc. Standing at the back of class is another one, it will embarass some and exhaust others meaning they aren't any good for the rest of the school day. Hope this helps I spent my years in school trying to justify not carrying out any of my punishments!!!

Being dressed in a duck suit and tied to the school flagpole while fellow students hurl trifle at you. Should definitely be banned.

school punisment should be given only after verifying the cause of the mischief with any trustworthy pupil of the class. it should not be much harsh which causes mental trauma to the student facing it
