I grew up in a highschool where showers were not forced and therefor no one ever showered. Infact there were a few times when some one might shower and they got made fun of. Now I am headed to college this fall and I am taking a gym class and I am sure showers are mandatory there. Should I be as nervous about this as I am, am I thinking to much into it, is there really nothing to it at all?

there really is nothing to it... just go in.. shower, and your done. nobody says nothing about you showering, they may talk with you, or the occassional prankster will snap you with a towel, but nothing else will happen

I use to have to shower in gym class. at first it was a little odd. but most of the guys were friends any way. dont worry about it its not bad just undress walk to the shower, shower walk to your locker dry off and get dressed. now other guys may talk to you but its not a big deal all guys have the same thing dont worry about being nude around a group of guys they are nude to and are doing the same thing. and if you catch anyone lookingat you take the compliment and go on about your business

It really is no big deal. College locker rooms have more facilties to insure privacy but even if you need to walk short distances nude and share a shower area nude with other men. It is no big deal. You will not get and erection cause of nerves and the cold water and it is easy to hide your privates with the towel or simply turning around and putting your back to most of viewers. You need to shower so take charge of your modesty.

Well its NORMAL to be afraid like I am as well but um ya if your embarrassed about people looking at your lower parts and laughing or something or stating something about it unless they are already known as gay just go like "why were you looking there in the first place?" but if they are just looking they may be gay maybe in closet so dun be mean and state it unless someone says something insulting
