If I were to move to London, what are some of the up and coming neighborhoods that would be worth moving to? By "up and coming", I mean neighborhoods that in the past no one would go near, but is now just turning the corner to being a nice place to live- but with the rent still at a "reasonable" level.

I guess I maybe talking about places where many artists and musicians live, etc.

Thanks

The East End of London is definitely on the way up. Lots of funky warehouse conversions and some amazing riverside estates. Great places are Wapping and St Katherine Docks. Not so much bohemian types in these areas but more like young professionals.

Still in the East End, Spitalfields, Shoreditch and Hoxton Square have more of a trendy, artistic feel and are also on the way up.
