Yes.

It is always a good when playing poker not to show your cards while you're still betting. When the press forces classified information from the government, they are in fact putting us all at risk. It's like the blond bimbo who stands behind the poker player and says, "You've got a Full House! Giggle" ... game over, and nothing is accomplished.

I know that no matter what government you are or what type of government you are, there will always be a 'Mole' in your government who will 'leak out' any and all types of information in the name of 'good will and honesty to the people', but its really most likely done to enhance their own political agenda. This can be a very good thing for democracy. Does anyone remember the 'Mole' who was responsible for bringing down Richard Nixon? I do the 'Mole's' name was "Deep Throat". This was a good thing for America. How-ever in these 'Terrorist' times I do hope the 'Moles' in our government will choose to 'Err' on the side of common sense because of the nature of the enemy and not for political reasons.

yes...unlike the new york slimes...our gov. does not want to give terrorists the edge.
