Usually dems are blaming bush for everything. "bush cause 9/11" "Bush started terrorism" But, i haven't heard any dems say one negative thing about yesterday's plot to blow up plane in midair over our major cities.

Why are you so quiet Dems??

What about the ACLU, or the NY Times? are they going to complain about the violation of civil rights and invasion of privacy against these UK citizens? The democrats only hail something if it can be viewed as a failure that makes their real enemy (republicans), look bad.

Nothing much to say. It is a shame for the Bush administration that the British are doing the inteligence work that the US is suposed to be doing. That's why we have a 9-11. Lack of intelligence information. We were close again to a mayor disgrace. Thanks to the British inteligence we can say today that there was a plot. Otherewise, in the hands of Bush... Another plain crash. And very probalby they would say that it was an accident, and nothing to do with terrorists attacks.

The "plot", if not totally fabricated is certainly exagerated to continue to put fear in the hearts of people to justify and gain support for the war on terrorism which has been huge dishonest disaster for this country and the world. Of course Bush is pulling the strings that control Tony Blair. It is a bluff and goes all the way back to OIL for Bush and the Oilmen.

My Party has a snow balls chance of keeping power in the up and coming elections and the Democrats will give us a new Vietnam in the Middle East, its called protracted war and it’s a loser. Israel is the hope for the future in the Middle East.

Democracynow.com needs to research the American Revolution and trace its funding mechanism it was devout Jews.

The terrorist plot was uncovered the day after Joe Lieberman lost in the primary. It was a joint action by Bush and Blair. They are afraid that the Lieberman loss is a setback to the New World Order, the United Nations, the E.U., and NATO.

better to keep silent and thought as a fool than to open mouth and remove all doubt.

some dems are spouting their rhetoric, just as some repubs are.

i wish both parties would just shut up. neither is saying anything constructive to our country.
its time to eradicate both major parties, the tax and spend dems and the immoral thieving repubs.

and yes I WAS conservative. until the numerous scandals that have ripped the RNC apart. Ceo's ripping us off blind, etc.

Im going constitution first party from now on.

In response Dingy Harry said this :

''The Iraq war has diverted our focus and more than $300 billion in resources from the war on terrorism and has created a rallying cry for international terrorists''

I don't disbelieve the threat. I have NEVER (look through all my answers if you like) said we are not under threat.

What I think is hysterical though is that Bush (and his supporters) are trying to say that his policies prevented this attack. HELLO - the British nabbed them with minor support from the U.S. Tapping American phones had nothing to do with it.

Now, the kids in Miami...that's another deal entirely.

Dems did say plenty.
They said that the bust up of this terror plot was proof that Police and Intelligence work is more efficient in fighting terror than invading countries.

THis was a British-pakistani operation, why should WE rant about it?

Just because Cons for some reason are taking credit for this doesn't mean we are going to do that too. The USA had nothign to do with this.
