That was really rude for you to say that...and actually...I not from the projects...but I can however go off on you in proper english or ebonics...which ever you choose...so you need to take that demon spirit somewhere else because I dont want it here...that was just so rude...

I think a lot of us, maybe most of us do. I think it is more that our skin just like our hair is just different than yours. Even among whites, some of us age differently than others and some look much older than they are.
Listen to your mom though, she is right about using lotion being important. Even if she is not explaining to me why I have a few more wrinkles than I did 10 yrs ago. I use lotion.

I can't use lotion on my body very often, it makes me get zits. My skin loves a good moisturizing wash, but no lotion. If my skin gets dry (hardly ever!), I use a body oil cause my skin likes oils much better than lotions. I also use nothing but pure Jojoba oil on my face - anything else gives me clogged pores. And I have no wrinkles (yet! *knock on wood*) at 26 years old, in spite of plenty of sun exposure and smoking cigs the last 7 years. Wrinkles are more genetic than anything else, I think. My mom looks about 20 years old and she's 52, she's never used anything on her face and body but bar soap and aloe vera gel.
I guess I should add, I've seen plenty of black people with wrinkles! Lotion might keep your skin soft and moist so it looks better, but I doubt it's going to make much difference in whether or not you get wrinkles.

Getting wrinkles has more to do with the amount of collagen in the skin. Lotion or not those with lower levels of collagen will wrinkle regardless. In fact everyone will some just not as fast or as much.

Most people might consider me white I guess. I am also a mix of Italian and Native American. I use lotion fanatically, only once a day on my face cause I do not want to clog my pores. So there you go. I am sure more people do than you realise. Even my crazy soon to be x b.f does!

My mother is white and she doesn't use lotion because she doesn't have the appearance of "ashy" skin. How people age is based largely on genetics. White people in addition very well may age poorly because of sun exposure. That's my guess.

Yeah, I USE lotion, like twice a day... white people don't necessarily get more wrinkles than whatever race you are

I'm black and I don't lotion (I don't even think I know how to lotion..I assume you mean rub your whole body in lotion?), so like anything else in life, it's a personal preference.

I lotion because I get dry skin. A friend of mine who is very dark asked the same question. I think the darker your skin the easier it is to see dry skin (the ashy look).

I'm not sure why you think this, but it's not true at all. I'm white and have countless numbers of cosmetic products, lotions, creams, oils, gels. I always take good care of my skin and I'm only 25. But then I'm completely obsessive about my skin, so maybe it's just me lol.

I'm white (see pic) and I use lotion for dry skin, I'm just not into all that facial stuff, but my hands get dry real bad in the winter. that and I see white women lubing themselves up all the time with that frilly fruity stuff....what circles have you been around?
