As a grappler.... Pro Wrestling (WWE stuff) is not what I call 'fake'.

The matches are pre-determined and they were strategically planned. Fake however is the wrong word for it.

What pro wrestlers do is throw their bodies about and getting clothelined, etc, etc on a daily basis. Their bodies go through soooo much. Why do you think many Pro Wrestlers take drugs and pain killers for?

Some people may say that the ring is a soft mat or whatever, but doing this stuff all the time really catches up with you. When you get thrown about and all.... trust me the mat isnt as soft as you may think!

Also remember that Pro Wrestlers do their jobs for about 3 months... then having something like 5 days off. These figures varies. Imagine how tough it is travelling from show to show... particularly if you have a family?

To finish this.... wrestling moves and strikes do land. Some puches will land. A dropkick will land. You get the picture....

In a real fight.... if you puch someone in the head.... they will go to the ground or whatever. In Pro Wrestling.... if you get punched, you 'ignore' it and continue to sell for the audience. You forget about everything just to entertain.

How and why do I know this? Because I know my Pro Wrestling from the late 1800's to today. I also use to be a trainee wrestler also.... but I have moved onto other things which I prefer --- real fighting!

There was one time in a match of mine when I dislocated my shoulder from a suplex. No one knew I dislocated it because it wasnt in the script of the match. So theres me selling and all that with this dislocated shoulder. It was hell, but I contiued the match. I soon got help when I walked back through the curtains. I think you get the picture.........

I am one of those guys that get a bit defensive when someone calls it 'fake'. Because I have been there and tried it. People do get hurt and carreers do end.

All the best to all!

Let me teach you n the truth about wrestling, mainly focusing on the WwE.

I liked wrestling in primary school then returned to it earlier this year. Why? I am fully aware wrestling is fake in the sense the victor is already determined, thus eliminating it as sport in its traditional sense.

However, the blood used i the WWE is real. The means of acquiring the fluid is sometimes forced. Shawn Michael's and Ric Flair often "juice" themselves during matches involving blood. "Juicing" is a process where the wrestler in question takes aspirin before the match to thin the blood causing blood flow freely from the cut. The cut is created by a razor blade when the wrestler slices their forehead with the blade. The blade is usually concealed in the clothing i.e wrist band. THIS IS REAL BLOOD, therefore the element of blood in wrestling is real and not fake.

Another not so often way of releasing blood is when a wrestler punches or kicks the other peer too hard.

Due to the use of real blood, blood tests are often taken to ensure STDs, now known as STIs(sexually transmitted diseases) are not exchanged by the juicing technique.

Of course when barb wire and other weapons are present there many practiced methods of extracting blood by the use of weapons, barbed wire being the easiest.

Disagree? Well, is it a coincidence that virtually all the bleeding in the WWE comes from the forehead? I think not.

Mr Kennedy versus Batista, Kennedy needed 20 stitches to the head after being hit against the steps. Real blood, real stitches and a real element in wresting.

On the other hand, the promos are usually crappy and of course scripted months in advance. But why complain? You see soaps are also scripted, so are films so why complain about fake story lines in the wwe?

Fake. Just imagine it as a soap opera or a pantomime.

In real life, if you punch a guy in his stomach, he would probably feel the pain and he wouldn't just bend down allow you to pedigree,F-5,F-U, stunner, people's elbow you. He would kick you and stop you.

All the stunts they do in WWE, tell them to do it off-guard with an unknown real opponent. They'll shiver with fright and won't fight even if you pay them.

Exception is Brock Lesnar who i think has joined the Japanese Wrestling where wrestling is real.

Accidents, they don't really happen. If mick Foley had fallen off the hell in a cell cage, he should have at least broken a hundred bones. No one, would come back and fall off a cage twice like Mick Foley or use barbed wires or barbed wire boards or flaming bats or sledgehammers or ladders or even chairs for that matter. Your head would like bust open if you even tried a light shot.

no one would survive after being speared through a flaming table with 0 burns. Impossible!

Also, the wrestlers are highly trained athletes. So, they know when they should get up and fall and what move to make when without hurting the other guy. They usually duck a millisecond before the hit.

that is totally pretend.. that is in basic terms an appearing! inspite of the undeniable fact that it hurts.. once you watch some, you will theory that that is genuine.. remarkable stunning? right here.. it extremely is pretend in maximum techniques. It must be. expert Wrestlers have a hard interest: they could be athletes, acrobats, stunt-adult adult males, actors (of a sort), and characteristic the means to heal up from injuries rapidly, or have the means to conceal those injuries from the team. It takes an prolonged time to benefit the thank you to be a expert wrestler. the thank you to land punches, the thank you to telegraph, the way you slam your foot once you 'hit' your opponent, so as that curiously such as you probably did something; the thank you to fall, the thank you to top execute wrestling strikes and lead them to seem genuine, and all of that variety of element. in case you or i attempted to accomplish (as an occasion) a "piledriver", we'd ruin somebody's neck! you are able to hold the guy bigger than your knees, so as that the rigidity of the drop is on your knees, and not on his head. inspite of the undeniable fact that, sometimes issues go incorrect. human beings get injury, or get very offended, or maybe go right into a steroid rage, and human beings *do* get injury, sometimes badly. Then, it extremely is for genuine. yet you will possibly have a annoying time recognizing such an incidence (extremely on a television broadcast), different than the guy who "lost" it would locate his contract voided, and now no longer allowed to try against interior the syndicate or federation you're familiar with them in. The act of "juicing" (or making small cuts on one's brow) does nonetheless happen, yet at present of AIDS, it does no longer happen as in many cases because it used to, and the folk are mechanically examined for blood-borne illnesses which contain AIDS and Hepatitis sort 3.

fake.

There has been plenty of behind the scenes specials , about wrestling , and even the ' wrestlers ' will tell you , that it is all scripted, and they know how to fall , so they dont hurt themselves.

Sure there may be accidents, but the majority , its all controlled.

After the fights, quite often they will all go to the Pub and have a drink together
