matthew is 180 degrees wrong: Chinese will trade with anyone, including African warlords for weapons, whereas American businessmen have more sense than that.
Yes, the Chinese have an over-simplified view of capitalism and that is because everyone who does business in China today was born under a communist flag.
They have borrowed way too much money that won't be paid back and they are about as corrupt in the government/business relationships that you will find this side of Ukraine.
Make your money as soon as you can, then get out. The Chinese economy is getting set to crash and burn within the next five years.

The chinese beleive that bravery is suffering and not attacking head on... better to wait for years and come out best! If they are childish it is to make you feel S A F E !
There economy is not going anywhere soon!!! its is the dragon with both eyes looking very much forward...

It's strange in the way that they seem to want to get to know you before they are willing to do business with you. People here will trade with anyone! Thats not to say that i find it childish in any way. It's just how things are done in china.
