Menopause is when a women stops getting her period and starts getting hot flashes and night sweats. This is all because her body isn't getting the normal amount of hormones.

menopause is a stage when the regular menstrual period of a women's life stops n thus stopping her the chances of getting pregnant. here she is not ovulating. its also termed as climacteric stage
definition : final cessation of menstruation is called menopause
whereas climacteric is a period at which the women gradually changes from the reproductive life into one of senescence
menopause is also called change of life
it is the result of exhaustion of eggs from ovarian follicles & consequent oestrogen deprivation
