Has anyone tried the body moisturisers that gradually build a tan? I've been using Nutri-Summer but it hasn't made much difference - can anyone recommend a really good one?

Well, I'm from Australia, where gradual tanners are being released like hot products. I first tried Johnson's Holiday Skin, which, when it was first released, only had a formula for light skin, which didn't make such a huge difference.

I then went to buy Dove's Summer Glow in the darker formula, and it's great! It smells delish and really gives you a difference.

The trick, if you want a good tan, is to apply quite a lot. Apply a bit at first, and allow that to dry, then slap on another layer, until, I guess, you feel a bit sticky.

I guess you're from America, where I've heard of the Neutrogena Build-A-Tan. I personally haven't tried it, but from Neutrogena's reputation (and the cost here), it should be worth a try.

Jergens Natural Glow for medium skin tones. The fair version, as you said, won't make much of a difference, and the darker version can appear orange/fake. Be sure to exfoliate!

Johnson and Dove are good, but i find if you not careful you will get the "fake tan" look. I wouldnt use them too much. Just for a little glow!

Hi, i found that the nivea one works wonderful in the medium to dark i have fair skin and the ones for fair skin dont work but nivea also has a skin firmer in so it leaves your skin tanned firm and soft its a brilliant product.
