My brothers and I are travelling to Boston for a wedding Labor Day weekend. With all the wedding commitments the only night we really have to explore the city is Thursday. We already have tickets to the Sox game that night, but want to go out afterwards. What are some can't miss spots? We are staying at the Westin in Copley Square, our ages are 31, 27 and 25. I am into martini lounges and club type places my two brothers are into sports bars and live music. Thanks.

If you're going to be at the Sox game I would stay in the Fenway area, it's a great time on a game night, especially towards a weekend like that. I would say try The Cask, Game On, or Boston Beer Works. All of them are at/right near Fenway and are a guarunteed good time. All are sports bars, which works for the location. Copley also has a great sports bar called Whiskeys, right across the street. It was voted like #1 Sports Bar in America by Maxim a few years back, and it's always a good sport to check out as well. . . . .You're lucky because those are probably the two best areas for great bars. (Match is a new martini bar in town, but I haven't checked it out myself yet, so I can't tell you really how that is)

i had a blast at cheers in fennel hall, there are also lots of bars like kitty o sheas and others by the finciacl district that are fun
no matter where you go you will have a blast!

yeah Jillians is good I like Boston Billiards or Boston Beerworks better though.
