general consensus is that he is in the mountainous region of northwestern Pakistan. Even though Musharrif is an ally, he has to walk a fine line to keep the radical muslim element within Pakistan from uprising, & that region is largley controlled by local tribal factions. A second possibility is that our freindly neigborhood Iranian president opened his arms to the whole Al Qaida gang.
