I need to find a short monologue with 4 voices, or dialects. I need this ASAP. Usually when auditioning I try to avoid dialect, but this audition specifically is looking for at least 4 voices. Help!

See, I'm stumped too. And all of these answers so far are why. Oh, it should be a light hearted comic piece. It's for Disney. ...can you see me auditioning for Disney with something intense, or from "Waiting for Godot?" LOL

There is a one-man show titled "Fully Committed" by Becky Mode (if memory serves correctly).

The play involves one actor playing 40+ characters, going between a receptionist taking reservations at a restaurant, so you should be able to find a four minute monologue within the play itself.

I did interp in high school, so I have quite a few pieces with multiple voices...That's the one that comes to mind...

OK, this is one that might actually work. Try to dig up a short play called "Chicago," by Sam Sheppard. The main character spend the entire piece in a bathtub. He has his clothes on, but...well, never mind.

In any event, I used to perform a cuting from this play. This guy has a number of immensely long monologues, but you can cut-and-paste. There's one in particular -- I seem to recall that it begins with the line "Biscuits? Who needs biscuits at this hour?" -- where he absolutely has to use an "old lady" voice, and I'm thinking that you might be able to weave in a couple more "character" voices.

It's funny you should mention Disney...I recently directed a production of Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap," and the guy I ultimately cast as Christopher Wren auditioned with a monologue that would be IDEAL for your purposes...and I'm sure he told me that he had once used it for a Disney audition. I'll be damned if I can remember what it is, though...

Well, monologue would denote just one voice, hence mono-logue, but if your sure you need 4 voices, with varying dialects, try Samuel Beckett's "Waiting For Godot."
