How do these cultures feel about each other?

To be absolutely honest, it seems as though different people hold different sentiments. Being a Chinese-American in Taiwan (who goes to a Bilingual School), it seems like some of my classmates are really into African American popular culture (some to the point of religiously, it seems), while some are really turned off by it. In the end, it has a lot more to do with the individual than the race.
However, looking at the two races as two different entities, I'd think that stereotypically, Chinese and African Americans aren't ones who would commonly mingle together. Chinese people are known to be quiet, timid, and unassertive. African Americans seem bold, outspoken, and sociable. So the two probably aren't a common match. However, as I mentioned before, it really has more to do with the individual than anything else.

This is a somewhat valid question when you consider the LA Riots. HOWEVER, the crimes were mostly commited against Koreans, not the Chinese.

There's really no set way certain races feel about other races, though sometimes it feels like African Americans have a set way of thinking about whites, and whites have a set way of thinking about them. All people are individuals, though, and so long as they aren't socialized by their parents and family to be bigots, they form their own opinions that usually hold no racism.

I'm going to assume this question does not mirror your intelligence.

To answer your question, it is grossly illogical to think that AA's and Chinese people don't get along. Where is the premise? Where did you get this idea? And why wouldn't this apply to Koreans, Vietnamese, Filipino individuals as well. Or, did you mean Asians?

I can't speak for every single black person in America, but for me, I respect any individual who is deserving of it, regardless of race.

People are people. They might not like a particular individual in a different ethnic group... but that shouldn't mean the ethinic group as a whole. That would make them racists....
