We had a leaque with 20 players, and several teams lost interest due to lack of players. I am hoping to have a leaque with two divisons, each with access a complete list of players, and have divisonal playoffs with the winner playing last game for champ.

Why would you want competing teams to have the same players, thus nulifying the scoring when playing against each other.

cut the league to 12 teams..draft the standard 15 players on each team and have two divisions of 6 or 3 of 4 teams each.

and weed out the teams that lost interest.

there's a lack of players BECAUSE YOU HAVE 20 TEAMS! Cut it down to 12 which is the ideal competetive size.

You can pull off 20 teams in baseball, but not football, unless you scale down the starting rosters (1 RB for example).

If you insist in going on with the farce of having two "divisions" with 2 instances of each player; just set up 2 10-team leagues and have separate drafts.

But they'll never be able to play each other. You can go H2H as long as you set the rules up the same; and keep track on your own spreadsheet or something.

Seems like a silly idea though.

we have a similar issue, we are a recreational league, concept is when you win you lose by buying beer. Great concept, we are discussing going to 14 teams and was hoping we could limit he players that could be on multiple teams in different divisions. considering doing two leagues and then manually doing play offs or going to a paid league like myfantaseyleague

You probably won't be able to find a free site with support for that type of format.

Most sites that do support multiple player pools will seperate them by conference so that you can still have divisions within each conference. Conferences work basically like a league within a league with seperate drafts, etc.. If you are looking for a pay site with support for seperate player pools, http://www.fantasymvp.net allows up to 4 conferences..

Not in Yahoo. You would have to do it manually.
