you should just take like 2 tampons with you and say you have to use the bathroom and put the tampon in. Do that right before everyone goes in the water. If you'll be in for a while then you should use a regular tampon. Short time use a slim or light.
Good Luck!

If this is your first period, then skip the swim party, and just relax poolside looking cute in a sexy outfit. if this is another of your many periods, then yes, you can wear a tampon before a pad. If this is the first time using a tampon, there is a little pain to it, so don't think it will just slip straight in.

You can wear a tampon, it will be safer if you put it in right before you get in the pool. In case of painful cramps or something you might want to take some aspirin or midol or something of that nature before hand. Also you might like to know that if you sit in a tub or something it will temporarily stop the flow of your period so you might want to try that, but you will still need the tampon, it could just make you feel better. Enjoy your birthday. Hope this helped!

Congratulations! You're a young lady 4 sure! My suggestion would be a tampon only. The pad would just be bulky and would absorb a ton of water that will only drip out when you're out of the pool or beach. You may want to practice a bit to get used to them. I would try the "slender" or petite size to start. You may also need a feminine lubricant to aleviate any discomfort in the application of the tampon.

Here is a fantastic link to tons of information for you. Everything you needed know, but couldn't ask! You'll really find this helpful.

Relax, most likely you will get it. Yes your can wear a tampon before a bad expecially if your swimmng. Its going to be a bit uncomfortable for you the first time, easy way to insert it is you have to do it on an angle. Tampon are great once you get use to it. Goodluck and congratulations on your woman hood.

Yes, wear a tampon if you're going to be swimming. DON'T wear a pad, you will be embarrassed. Is this your first period?

the great thing about tampons are that you can wear them swimming and no one will know that you have your period. If you are just spotting then choose a light days one and put it in right before you go swimming. no one will know. Have fun!

Sweety u should wear a tampon, bc if u wear a pad it's going to get wet, an then it'll be such an ebarassing situasion. Try to wear a regular one it'll last longer. Hope u have fun!!!!!!!

First of all, you shouldn't bleed if ur swimming, and second, I would wear a tampon just to be safe.
