If your applying for an entry level position in the networking field, it really can make a difference. However, the higher u go in job titles, the more CCNP starts to show up, which is the next step past CCNA. Not to mention its hard as hell, and if you can pass it, then you really know your stuff.

It can open some doors for you, but what I've found is that many of the companies that tried to hire me didn't really care that I was CCNA, only that I had a cert. Something to keep in mind i guess.

Once you clear CCNA and have some experience then you can have a rocketing career. You can later do CCNP, CCIE.
