How on earth could a straight man "become" gay? None I know ever have. You see -- your sexuality is natural. You can't change it. The fact that you have fantasies about guys that you beat yourself up over isn't because you've been "infected" or some such bullsh*t -- its because you were born either bisexual or gay. They say that most homophobics are just afraid they might be gay. There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. How would you feel if someone told you who you could love and share your life with. I am heterosexual but have many gay relatives and friends (male and female). There is something wrong with your logic. How could the homosexuality of another man effect your manhood? Chances are they aren't interested in you anyway, or maybe that's the problem...Being gay isn't a disease or an infection. You can't catch it if a gay man coughs or sneezes on you. It is a life choice that doesn't effect you, in less you gay anyway...

I am not even going to debate the validity of your statements. I know they aren't true, and thankfully, so does a very large portion of the world.

How is being gay a threat to your man hood? Please. All of my gay male friends are more manly than you...Why? Because they are decent, hard working, honest and loyal. They cherish their friends and family and will do anything to protect themselves and the people they love. A man isn't somenoe who jumps at shadows and is afraid of what he cannot understand. The Man who said "let's Roll", was a gay man who had been thrown out of his profession of a teacher becuase of his orientation by people like the asker here. He saved countless lives that day and is considered an american hero.

Homosexuality is a broad spectrum from 100% straight to 50% for both to 100% homosexual. Most studies estimate only 29% are 100% straight the rest are either 100% homosexual or some where between that and straight so bisexuals make up the largest portion of the population most can pass as straight and most do. Your best friend might have desires for men and you would never know because he keeps his personal life private.
Those who know me in real life have no Idea I am bisexual only a few very close friends know and of course all my on-line friends know how I feel. You need to learn to accept others and accept yourself. Most who preach hate are doing so out of a sense of self loathing because of their own same sex desires. Those that are threatened by us (your word not mine) usually are threatened because we force them to consider that they may not be 100% straight. Those that have no homosexual desire are not threatened by us because they are secure in their manhood.

If someone is happy being gay, then who are you to make fun of them? Are they hurting you by being gay? I know plenty of "macho" gay males.
