Get a cortisone cream from your local pharmacist/chemist

You should go to the tanning bed a couple times, it clears up psoriasis extremely fast. Then you won't be itching anymore!

Don't take a salt bath or put aloe or cortizone cream on it. If anything, go to the dermatologist to get a prescription cream.

I've had psoriasis for years and tanning was the most effective thing. The creams didn't work very well for me.

But try not to scratch it though, you will cause it to spread.

Good luck!

Hi,
I suffer too. My hands were covered, and fingers cracking on the keyboard - messy, hurt, sore. A Dr. in Hartford recommended/prescribed Tazorac (tazorotene topical gel) 0.1% It really helped my hands, actually the psoriasis on my hands disappeared. It did not help on my leg - weird.

That same doctor recommended UV - B (Ultra Violet B Rays) treatments for my hands if the Tazorac did not help. Cure the psoriasis - the itching goes away. Treat the itching - and you have less itchy psoriasis. There really is no cure, but my hands have been clear for several years now.

my dermatologist uses this very old school cream that has tar in it...sounds gross....but it COMPLETELY makes the spots go away....sunlight helps as well....if you haven't been to a dermatologist yet...i'd suggest going....i have the condition myself and it's a huge pain!
