2. Yes
3. My dog is a mini dachsund (weiner dog). The two pets at my moms house that I grew up with, Dog is a mutt and a cat, I don't know what kind of cat, I guess regular, she's calico and kind of crazy.
4. My dachshund's name is Oscar. Dog at mom's is Chase and cat's name is Buttons.
5. I would cry two gallons and I would not be able to go to work for days or leave the house. I would save the last food in his dish and the last water in his dish that he drank from. I would be complete devistated.
6. Because he loves me sooooooo much and I love him sooooooooo much. He is always there for me and will be. Also, how could you not spoil such a cute face. I would do anything for Oscar. I won't let him off a chain or leash, unless he is in a fence. Because I am afraid that he will run in the road and get hit by a car. I would NEVER EVER forgive myself. I love Oscar sooooooooooooooooooooooo much.
I still love Chase and Buttons, but when I moved out and got my own dog, he was like my very own Baby.

I do not own a cat or classify myself as an animal lover. I do however find it cruel to keep a cat indoors all the time. People need to think before they get animals about the environment they are providing for the animal. The same is true for dog owners or pet owners in general. If you can't properly take care of an animal don't take it. I won't own a cat or dog unless I own an appropriate amount of property for the animal to be happy in. The last dog I had was trained to stay on my property and never annoyed my neighbors even though he was rarely chained when he was outside. The same would go for cats with me even though they can't really be trained. People with small lots or apartments often think they will be able to keep the animal happy and exercised only to find out they really can't. It's a problem that really needs to be solved before the person gets a cat.

1. I would try to protect my pets to the best of my abilities
2. I do swerve to avoid running over any animal - dead or alive
3. We have 2 dogs, 4 fish tanks, 2 waterfrogs and 2 gerbils
4. Too many names to list, LOL.
5. I would be sad especially for the dogs when they pass away. One of my gerbils is getting really old and I will miss him.
6. I believe that animals are as innocent and vulnerable as children and seniors. It is our moral responsibility to treat them well and we can learn so much about humanity from them. They ask for so little, yet give you so much back.

1) No.
2) Yes.
3) Hubby has two female beagles. I have two rats.
4) Brandy is older and smaller. Chloe is younger and fat! Rats are Babylon and Asia.
5) Lots and Lots.
6) Unconditional love. They don't care if you're fat and ugly or skinny and good looking, they just love you. It's impossible NOT to love them.
You should have asked "where did you get your pets from?"
Both beagles came from shelters. Brandy first, she was taken from a man who kept her penned up 24/7. He took care of her, but she wasn't very social when we got her. Chloe two weeks later, given up because people had to move and couldn't have pets.
