I'm a girl, but I also asked my mom to pierce my ears on the cartilidge. What you should do, is get talking to your mom about other stuff and then just ask her casually and see what she says. If she says no, ask her why in a CALM voice and state your reasons. If atill no, then give it a rest for a while and try again another time with more reasons! Hope that helps :D

chances are that if you go ahead with this piercing, with or with out permission the day will come when you will regret your decision. Once it's done you cannot undo it. This is just a fad which will pass in time.
