Depending on where you are, "petrol" has a different meaning, as in England gasoline is usually called petrol, while in North America, petrol ususally means crude oil.

Well, it does not matter. Either way, it is a mixture of compounds.

If we take gasoline, there is trimethyl-2-2-4-pentane in it (that is waht is usually called "octane", as is it an isomer of the linear octane), there is also heptane, as well. Then there are also traces of aromatic compounds (benzene based) like benzene and toluene which the oil industry should try to minimize during the refining process because it is carcinogenic. You will basically have any hydrocarbon between 5 to 12 carbon atom per molecule in varying amounts.

Since the plant that degrated eons ago to produce crude oil were not made only of hydrogen and carbon, there will also be compounds containing oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur (the sulfur compound are actually a problem with diesel).

Since gasoline comes from crude oil, it makes said crude oil even more of a complex mixture.

So, the answer to your question is TRUE, with no restrictions whatsoever.

Pure gasoline is a combination of Hydrogen and Carbon atoms. It is a compound. Not a mixture of compounds. Of course the additives are another thing entirely.

relies upon what petrol mix you want. many times chainsaws have 2-stroke engines that must be offered at any shop that sells automobile upload-ons. that is going to come pre-mixted in a plastic bottle. As for blending it your self, you ought to do a speedy google seek for - yet would not be complicated to confirm.
