Not really. In fact, I'm VERY proud of the UK for the swift reaction and arrests of these piles of waste. I am actually more at ease when traveling now because of the efforts our governments are making to keep us safe.

Also, if a terrorist did happen to sneak by and make it onto a plane, we all know now what to do. We don't do as in the past with hijackers (sit still and no one will get hurt). We'll gang up and kill the bastards before the plane lands safely at the airport.

GOOD WORK ENGLAND! You did a great job!

I'm no more afraid of air travel today than I was 2 weeks ago. However I do have a different attitude about air travel now than I did before deregulation. It used to be sort of a fun adventure to go somewhere by air. People even dressed up to travel by air. Now it's a nasty way to travel, the fun is gone, the seats get tinier, they rarely feed you anything but peanuts and pretzels, it's about as much fun as going to the dentist! If I can find a reasonable alternative mode of travel, I use it whenever possible.

No. Everything is being done to safeguard the flight and you die only once. If you were to die in the air, you will be nearer to God than the one who dies 30,000feet below. Happy journey, up or down.

Uh yes...a little more than before. I don't really like flying anyway and when you think that some crazy could just blow up your plane....it's not a very comforting thought.
