I didn't understand why you don't want to use limewire but anyway. I'll suggest E-mule to you. Its a file sharing program similar to limewire.

Try Soulsearch, again it's file sharing but has a great selection of music on there.

Try bearshare but it does have a spyware that comes with the package so be careful
