It's this question along with many other that makes me thankful I have no religion, wait for all the Cristians answering now, to justify why he's not human but a father.... no disrespect meant but I feel that religion is as unbelieveable as Jack and the Beanstalk... another fairytale.

I agree it does sound like the stories of ancient Greece, have you ever seen a picture of Zeus? He looks suspiciously like our images of God and isn't it weird that Jesus was born in mid-March and yet we celebrate his birthday in December? The bible does say that humans were made in the image of God.......therefore God looks like us. If you look through the basic facts of different religions you'll find a lot of similarities really. Try reading Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code if you haven't already, they'll both point out a lot of facts that will probably make you go WOW!!

Doc8 is correct. Theologically, Christ was considered the Son of God in the spiritual sense -- but he was born to that. Christ's sacrifice was intended to reconcile humanity with God in order to allow the rest of us to become spiritual sons and daughters of God. Paul uses the Greek term for adoption (huiothesia) to describe the Christian convert's new relationship with God (Galatians 4:1-7). The relationship between adoptive parent and adopted child is one of compassion rather than judgment (Ephesians 1:3-6).

This makes a lot of what we've been taught about Christianity in general, and Christ's divinity in particular, dead wrong. But I hope that you'll be wise enough to realize that faulty teachers don't make the teaching faulty. It just means that people who don't know their theology shouldn't be allowed to teach others.

The anthromorphic concept of a God in human form sitting on a heavenly throne watching for each of us to sin is only countenanced by the most fundamental religions. I think the son of God was intended in a spiritual sense.

Well in the Bible it says God created man in his own image. Once can speculate that God has two arms and legs a head and eyes.

The Bible also said that God denied man fruit from the Tree of Life so that man might live forever and become As Gods

Hence, yeah, we are probably closer to God in all aspects, except we are finite and God isn't!

Funny thing, man had choices and eat from the wrong tree. Man should have eaten from the Tree of Life, it wasn't forbidden. Instead man ate from the tree of the knoweldge of Good and Evil.

When Adam and Eve became conscious of this she was ashamed of how tiny her breasts were and hid them and Adam saw his little thing and hid it and the rest is history.

your concept is 1 + 1 = 2 .. how can God became a human ?
God is a spirit, doesn't have any flesh... 1 x 1 = 1
that makes God, Holly Spirit & Jesus is still the same source 1x1x1 = 1
math can do ! haha...

If you believe in the Holy conception then you have to accept that Jesus was indeed the son of God!

no God is not human. Mary had Jesus, but she was a virgin. God was the one that planted the seed in Mary. and that is how Jesus was born. i know its hard to understand but it's true.

well god is acutally real because if he is not real then we won't be alive today and that is true. god or whatever his name is is a god to all religeons but they won't admit it. jesus is not god's son because it is proven that god did not ever show up in life form.
