You don't install it right, so what would you call it?

When you put in an ink cartridge, is it considered installing one, or is it called something else...

I'd call it an improperly installed ink cartridge.

A used, improperly installed cartridge. it's a user error. Either try to install it properly, or call it a loss, toss the cartridge and printer and get a new one...lol...nowadays the prices of a single cartridge are higher as if you buy a new printer, where a cartridge is already installed in it

you call it insert a cartridge if your cartridge doesn't work throw it on somebody's head let it be useful for that at least
