What? I live in New York and I feel pretty safe. I see plenty of cops around, especially in the 'bad" neighborhoods. Nobody carries their salry in their pocket, everything is through the banks, so no worries about being robbed of your paycheck. If you are a good person, you are perfectly safe.
Just because you live here doesn't mean you are "carelss and wild." I come from a strict cultural and religious background, and that's how I was raised--in New York! No late night partying or clubbing for me...no drinking or doing drugs...I think New Yrok is great--I went to school here, and got my bachelors degree, with a wonderful scholarship. This is the only place I can imagine that would let me do that. That's why soo many immigrants come here--for the great education and job opportunities!

By the way, you have officially earned an Associates degree from the University of Ignorance for your idiotic comments...Congratulations!

If you think it would be better to live in a poor country or in the jungle, then go there. Enjoy the fine hospitals, modern medical care, access to modern conveniences like tornado warnings, and the security of knowing you won't be eaten by a hungry tiger. There are advantages and disadvantages of living anywhere, but if you spit on this country I have only one suggestion for you: leave immediately as there are people sitting in inner tubes braving the Caribbean to get here and others crossing through the desert in the dead of night to get here. We don't need you. Get out. Now.

What are you talking about? New York City is a very safe place. Certainly safer than Baghdad or wherever you're from. Spit to your heart's content.

Your concept of NYC is way off base!! What you say is simply NOT true! Who told you that crap? Have you been to NYC?

Edit: Just read your brief synopsis of yourself--no wonder you have angst against America.
