John b/f says Juventus have sold most of their star names making it difficult for them to get back to the top league. How will they get out of this fix, I wonder?

It is tough whenever a top club goes down a league. Juventus is lucky in that it is a cash-rich club and will not suffer in the same way as a smaller club that relies upon revenue generated from television and sponsorship.

Juve is a huge name and that will mean that the it will be able to attract players (although perhaps not international standard players who need European games to keep their place) - but certainly of a standard that will lift them back into serie a.

I do not see them languishing more much more than a season in serie b to be honest.

THEY STILL HAVE:

1. ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO
2. PAVEL NEDVED
3. GIANLUIGI BUFFON
4. MAURO CAMORANESI (FINGERS CROSSED)

ONCE THEY GET BACK TO THE SERIE A NEXT SEASON THEY WILL START BUYING SOME YOUNGER TALENT. SLOWLY BUT SURELY YOU WILL SEE THAT THEY RISE TO THE TOP OF THE SERIE A IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

since they have sold all their good players, they will now have about 20 million, so they are cash strapped when it comes to it.
