alot of people tell me they like the old superman so i ask.who is better old superman or new superman and why?

People who blindly pick 'Old Superman' because they think being 'old school' makes them cool are idiots, just the same as those who say Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'm sorry, but the new Superman movie is better. The special effects are nicer, the acting is better, and they've made Superman more for the masses. He isn't working just for America now, but the whole world. The American flag was replaced with a spinning globe, and it's fitting. Superman is the WORLD's hero, not just America's. He wasn't born here, after all.
That said, I prefer comic book Superman over movie superman any day. And the new one at that. 80s and 90s Superman scared me with his crazy haircuts and messed up story lines. (for more on crazy Superman, see my source) Plus, older comic books have shite artwork.

Old superman because he was a lot more handsome and the movie was far better good.I dont know when i saw superman i did it with a lot of expectation.Y'know i happen to be a die hard fan of superman but the new movie had nothing to offer and really makes you sick.Its like you are travelling through a road that has no twist and turns and no fun.It is just a movie which will leave the hard core fans of superman disappointed in their seats.and i think the new superman is too chocolaty.He is like a baby doesnt have the mature face or maturity.

This one is easy. The old-old superman. I mean the black and white TV series superman. It's like asking the question, Sean Connery or Roger Moore, no contest, Sir Connery is the man and so is George Reeves

I like the new Superman because I think he's less corny than the old one from the 30s or 40s whenever he was made.

For me there will only be one superman: Christopher Reeve. I'm not interested in seeing the new version of Superman no matter who is in it.

Do you mean "old superman" as in the 1930's and 1940's Superman vs. 70's and 80's vs. today? Or do you mean George Reeves vs. Christopher Reeve vs. Brandon Routh? Or do you mean before he died, and after he came back?
Brandon Routh is too gay to be Superman.

the old superman, because of the storyline. didn't dig the lois-clark angle in the new movie. but i'm giving the new superman a chance, co'z brandon routh is so cute!

old superman, i think its just too hard now to change this association we have with christopher reeve and superman! it's like now spider man with toby mcguire, its like he earned his title..no superman can ever come again!
