If I don't open my email, can some someone crack/break my password? By which way can they do?

like u said that if u don't logon to ur email account is there any way by which someone can break in to it .. well its all depends upon ur password strength. because there is just one way by which some one can break in to ur account that is "Brute Force Attack ".
in that kind of attack cracker use all the cobination of password like all the alphabets in small cap etc number's and there combination untill he is not gona find ur password . in the case of yahoo u can't have password less then 6 character. for this cracker use large list of working proxy,wordlist, there are many software those do Brute Force Attack . but its very hard to do ..
as i told u before its all depends upon ur password strenght if ur using combination of alphabet numaric small cap big cap alphabet its gonna be more hard for cracker to crack .
but its true account can be cracker it can takes month'z or years to do that ... so thats why keep changing ur pass word before it gonna be cracked ... this is the only way to save ur self lolz

Well there is a lot of possibilityes here. Like u said .....""If I don't open my email.......?"" ......this mean to me that:
1. Coul be a problem with ur email software( outlook for ex)
2. Email server/webserver is DOWN
3. U misstype ur username and/or password.
4. Sumone hijacked ur email account and changed password
