I need some ideas for a romantic gesture I could make for my wife. You see I kinda surpassed myself when I did the whole, romantic bath, rose petals, back massage, home cooked meal thing last time, and now all the ideas I come up with seem pale in comparison. My wife is very special you see, and I like to make her feel special, so any ideas would be great, I am trying to be original here, which I why I think all my ideas suck :(

Yes. I love all of that, which you do for your wife.
Here is a fun suggestion. My husband did this. You do the hide a clue so she can run around the house to find the big gift. Along the way as she finds a clue you may want to put a few small prizes. Like some pretty panties, after she finds the thrid clue, or a small box of chocolates after the 9th clue. Usually you will need about 20 clues and after that she may get tired, but if she is up for it, it will be lots of fun. You can hide them on the porch, under the rug, under a bed, in a cabinet, be creative.
We lived close to the beach and my husband did this in the sand with a companss, a bit risky, because you may lose things. But it was winter and no one was their. He put memories of us in zip lock bags for me to find. Like letters we wrote each other, photos, dried flowers. At the end he proposed to me.
Sometimes it is also the little things like taking out the trash, that makes the difference.

This one works everytime.
At a time when she is a little down or has been working hard etc make up a little token for her, on the token you need to write ' this token is good for one outfit' then explain to her that when she wants to she can go shopping for a day to get a completely new outfit, top to bottom, new top, skirt, shoes bag and make up. you go with her and dont moan about being dragged around the shops and be really positive about the way she looks when trying on all the different things. Treat her to a nice lunch out somewhere and instead of going out in the evening, you cook her a meal and sit at the table with a really good bottle of wine with no tv on in the background and talk loads about her and her needs.
You'll get some great sex and she'll be happy she is married to you.

Not sure what you have done or if you are both just in a rut at the moment,but anyway ,make time to be alone and take he to one of her favourite shows ,movie or restaurant if money is a bit tight then Try making her a nice dinner and running her a foamy bath get her favourite dvd and watch it together and if you need to apologise for anything then that's the time to do it ,break the ice by telling her how much she means to you and that you don't show it enough but love her to bits and that you will try to be more thoughtful and do things together,or just hold her hand over the table and tell her you love her good luck.

Yes you did surpass yourself. Go the other way, its quite chilly of an evening now so pack up 2 champagne glasses and abottle of bubbly. Wrap up warm then drive to the coast buy fish and chips and eat them on the seafront whilst cracking open the bubbly. How romantic is that. If you want to push the boat out a little further but her something beautiful to give her when you are there.

does you wife have any particular pop star or music that she likes if so why don't you buy her tickets for it as a surprise and if you can stretch to it a nite in a hotel, failing that why not treat her to a spa treatment at a local spa near you i am sure they will do deals but do it as a surprise and start the day with white roses or her favorite flowers and a nice breakfast in bed then spring the suprise of what the present is on her

I'd go for the suprise long weekend away - somewhere like Tuscany (meant to be quite romantic there), buy her a big bunch of red roses and on the card that comes with them, tell her that you've booked a holiday!

Pick a wooded area maybe where a friend lives take her there., then, when she gets there let there be a canopy with roses a table with fine linen wine and cheese portable radio, have a romantic CD, play it. An air mattress with wild flower on it. Someone did that for me and it was ROMANTIC. Look into her eyes and say I love you.

Fill house fully of helium hart balloons...
get someone to dress up as a dragon, to grab and kidnap her...
You rescue her dressed as a knight in shiny armour with a well choreogahed sword fight...
Maybe with a horse on standby the ride off into the sunset. then later spend the night in a castle hotel.
Or get training and a really good fireman strip routine with velcro trousers the works.
Maybe (if she wont kill you) you could take this a stage further getting her girlie mates involved to take her to see a male strip show where you have (having had lessons) arranged to do a one off show for the one you love and get her up on stage as the volunteer

thats so sweet i couldnt give you an idea that could top what youve alredy done youre wifes very lucky,i cant even get my hubby to pick up his underpants im sure youll think of something lovely but no one knows youre wife better than you,you will do fine
