UCLA has a 3 month Producing Program. It is a good chance to learn the business but more importantly you can apply for an internship. Internships are a great way for a company to see if you are what they want for their company and often if they like what they see, it is not uncommon to get job offers.

Move to LA. If you're already there, polish up the resume and start hitting the studios.
