in light of the new smashing pumpkins album on the way, i started thinking of whom i would like to see reform and put out new material. Easy for me.....that would be for Marr and Morrissey fall in love again and reform the Smiths for a new album and tour.

The Police.

They're the one band I have always wished I could have seen live. Other bands have lost members to death, so reuniting wouldn't be the same (ie The Beatles, Led Zeppelin). The Police were masters at the pop song and I'm sure they'd find success with an album and a tour.

That would have to be Genesis, with the 2nd line up, Phil Collins on drums..the might as well be the almost original line up...but not quite original line up...AT least this band would be able to accomplish that unlike the one at the top of this page, the Beatles..

i would love to see bob marley and the original wailers reform. unfortunately thats not an option. i think though , that if they could they would be hugely successful and would bring much of the world together in peace, the way they did 30 years ago. great question!

either pink floyd or soundgarden.

I think they both would have mild success among the mainstream, but the hardcore fans would buy those albums till they died

I love Pink Floyd. That's why my answer to this question is Pink Floyd. I would like to watch them if they succeed again.
