Does any one deserve to live in peace?

They are successful and everybody hates people that do really well. Terrorist Hezbollah targets civilians. Israel does everything possible to avoid civilian casualties, but when Hezbollah is hiding behind women and children who have been brainwashed to like the Hezbollah because they were given things, it becomes impossible to avoid hitting them. Iran and Syria are hiding behind Lebanon and will be no match for Israel nukes.

Israel and the Arabs have been fighting over that land for centuries. The land always had Jews living there. It wasn't just given to the them out of the blue. And the fact is its there now. Israel is a recognized sovereign nation. They have been pretty horrible to the Palestinians (including human rights violations), as they refuse to recognize Israel as a county.
When the PLO, Hezbollah and Hamas (and later Al Quada) started performing terror attacks on innocent people, many decided that if the Jews would "go away" then these terrorists organizations would be happy and there would be peace in the world. Thus, the Jews are the cause.
PS: Everybody's homeland was given to them at the expense of the people already living there.

Those who do just have excuses.
The main reason is jealousy. It is so deep rooted that ppeople won't admit to it.
Isreal is accused of killing Jesus and then they are God's chosen people.
I am 30 years old and have never seen Isreal so offensive as they are being with the group in Lebanon and I applaud them for not being pushed around any longer in the name of keeping peace. It is one thing to turn the other cheek but a totally different thing to be bullied around and it seems that Isreal is tired of being shoved around like the world's step child.

I don't, but a friend of mine is married to a lebanese girl and was in Beirut on holiday a few weeks ago when this trouble started. They got a bus to Jordan to escape and on the way the road was bombed in front of them, then behind them. Finally the border post was bombed just after they got through to Jordan. I can understand why people do hate Israel, when its military is responsible for the death of a loved one.

Watch this video done by Americans of interviews with pacifist Israelis who are disturbed by the lack of humanity in Israel's use of propaganda, torture, and force. You will get a a much better understanding of why there is so much hate towards the Israelis in the Arab world. I for one was deeply distrubed by this and learned things that I never knew.

There is good number of reasons.
Israel has defied over 50 UN security council resolutions related to it's occupations of various parts of a few countries.
Israel so far has not given the Palestinians their state in accordance with security council resolutions and peace treaties it signed with Palestinians.
Israel still keeps over 10000 Palestinian and Arab prisioners.
Israel kills Palestinian civilians on a daily basis.

Their homeland was given to them at the expense of the people already living there. Palestinians were evicted from their homes and if they refused their homes were bulldozed. Don't Palestinians deserve the same right?
