There is an old Scripture that says in effect that all of man's work is for his belly. Another says that the person who does not work should not eat.

The question would get different answers depending on context as physical, spiritual, medical, etc.

The way I see it is that we already have food for life and it should be accepted with thanksgiving. On the other hand, a person who lives their life for food alone doesn't have much of a life.

I don't understand the second part of your question, therefore I won't be able to answer that.

but for the first part...Food for life would be having food at anytime throughout our life, which is nice, if you don't have much. Live for food means, a person would do anything for food...somehow...

Hope that helps

Jink lye Khan is true. It is 'Ha van' for "kludging". We eat so that we are healthy and fit to shoulder our responsibilities. It is like fuel to keep the cart going. We say cats are shrewd and steal milk. But cats steal only when they are hungry. Men and women steal even if they are not hungry.
