Why does every terror link across the world points at Pakistan?

Look at what happened in London yesterday. All the fingers are pointing to terrorists trained in Pakistan. Today US Embassy in India issued a warning that the Pakistani trained millitants and Al-Quida militants may attack important places in Delhi & Mumbai in next few days. Mr Bush again says that US is in a state of war yet Pak is an ally. Why?

There are large portions of Pakistan that is essentially uncontrolled by the Pakistani government and military due to its remote location and difficult terrain. Terror groups such as al-qaida can set up shop unnoticed and unharassed. The Pakistani government under Pres. Mushareff has done much to help in combating terror groups...not enough, but far more than any other muslim country.

Everytime I try to imagine a Pakistani terorist I laugh:

1. We are always late, we would have missed all 4 flights.
2. Pretty girls on the plane would distract us.
3. We would talk loudly and bring attention to ourselves.
4. With food and drinks on the plane, we would forget why we’re there.
5. We talk with our hands, therefore we would have to put our weapons down.
6. We would ALL want to fly the plane.
7. We would argue and start a fight in the plane.
8. We can’t keep a secret, we would have told everyone a week before doing it.
9. We would have put our country’s flag on the windshield.

Most of these are so true....ha! I just imagine a big mustached man with balding hair, speaking Urdu so loudly and attracting so much attention, leaving a scent of garlic/onion behind him...hahah...no way he can pass security without being checked thoroughly!!!!

well i live in pakistan and right on the border of afganistan, it is a long and a very hilly area, it is not possible to guard every inch of the border, so the al-quida militants cross border very easily, our government is doing its best to handle this problem. Pakistan Government is doing every thing in its power to solve this problem. Not many people know but the Al-Quida is a very big threat to pakistan's moderate people, they have been involve in many bombing in pakistan killing thousands of people over the period of few years. As a moderate Pakistani it is very embarrasing to me when name of pakistan is mentioned in any terror plot in the foreign country. when ever anything bad happens, west is quick to point its finger to all the people living in pakistan.

Why is Pakistan not on list of Terrorist supporting countries when we know they support Terrorist groups. Whey do they have nuclear capabilities. There is a reason but we will never get a truthful answer. All you have to do is look at what there country has to offer us and you will get your answer. People don't like to think about conspiracy and they don't like to assume. I think that is stupid what do you think our government has been doing for the past 200 years. Do you think we got to were we are today by the simple minded thinking of Bush Supports. In government nothing is what is seems and to answer any question about why our government does anything all you have to know is MONEY and POWER. That's why we do what we do.
