I love the Brady Bunch!! Oh how I wanted to be in their family - but then cousin Oliver showed up and then I didn't like it any more.

Absolutely! I loved it! I would watch it every day after school growing up. I think I loved it so much because in their family everything got solved in a half an hour (or an hour on those specials) and everyone was immediately happy after it was solved! Not like my family life at the time where everyone was quiet and then would blow up like a time bomb. It was definitely an escape and I took it as often as I could.
Oh.. and Family Ties and Silver Spoon and The Beverly Hillbillies and The Andy Griffith Show and Full House and all the other crap shows that did the same thing. They all provided a good escape.
Now, I just turn off the tv and raise my family. :D

Yes, I watched it, and will admit to buying the series on dvd.
I still laugh at the episode where Alice was going to Seattle, and Cindy, with her lisp said...who is Attle?
LOL
:-)
ya, they're a bit corney, but those were the days. All in the Family, the Love Boat, Gilligans Island, Our Gang (the Little Rascals), Leave it to Beaver, The Carol Burnett show, Sonny & Cher...they were simpler times back then.
(sigh)

Frankly I always found it a tad bit scary; I always thought in the final episode we would find out that the family wasn't really human but a troop of body snatching aliens who were gathering data for the ultimate take-over of the Earth! The perfect family bit was only a cover.

I loved it in the 70s but oh my goodness when I see an episode now I just cringe thinking "I loved watching this show so much when I was growing up, what the heck was I thinking!" Alice irritates the crap out of me.

That's like asking if we remember Christmas or any holiday for that matter. Yes I loved the show.

Yea if I ever catch it being on, I usually watch it. It reminds me of the Show Step By Step.

I used to love it when I was a kid. I saw it when it originally aired on TV, which shows you how old I am.
I find it really hokey now, but it still makes me giggle sometimes.
Peter and Jan were my two favorites.

I remember it. I liked it at the time. I was so jealous of their family life. I wished I could be in a family like that.
Now that I am an adult I see how odd it was.
Thanks for asking.

I can't abide the show! It is so sickeningly sweet. Ugh! It seems like it is always on Nick at Night.
