George the master mind of September 11, president of the free world and major oil companies W. Bush of the United States of America

Bush is quite likely the worst president in 200-year history of the United States. A reputed historian, representing a profession that is usually very circumspect about making sweeping judgments, recently speculated that President George W Bush could go down as the worst president in U.S. history. Fortunately, the American public will get an opportunity later this year for some damage control during the midterm Congressional elections. We hope that they will restore some semblance of checks and balances on a reckless, inept and constitutionally unrestrained chief executive by electing Democratic majorities in both houses so that proper investigations can be undertaken and constitutional speed breakers installed until the long Bush nightmare comes to a welcome end in 2008.

George W. Bush - United States of America. Not only the worst right now, but the worst of all time. By the way, not every country has a president - some have prime ministers.

Kim Jong Il, of the People's Democratic Republic of Korea (a misnomer if I ever heard one). He is in absolute control, and his country lies in ruins because of it (but his people do put on awesome parades/celebrations for him).

Addendum: I take it back, mugabe from zimbabwe is worse.

Flash - Marcos has been dead for many years. Perhaps that would qualify him as being the best president in the world.
Otherwise, the honor goes to George W. Bush, president and would be fuhrer of the U.S.
