Nothing can run as deep as love and if anybody says otherwise they have never properly loved....
Love is unconditional whereas hatred is very much conditional as the person who hates willingly desires to harm somebody( or somebodies) else.

Think about this if you will... when you first love do you always let the one you love know how you feel?
When you hate, how much easier is it to get your ppint across?Hatred is more powerful than love in only one way... the drive and determination behind it. Hate feeds on itself, hatred grows into a cancer. Love is born from the heart but can quickly become diseased... Each looks like the other but they are very different........if only you have the eyes to see

The opposite of love is not hatred but indifference. Hatred is such a different emotion to love and I think that there are very few people who are actually able to hate as deeply as we are able to love.

Yes, I think it can run deeper than love for some people too. Love and Hate are very strong, very deep emotions.

It sure can. You can certainly love someone with all you have, but if they break you heart or do something terrible to you that you yourself would have never ever done to any other human being, then, you can develop a hatred for that individual that is/was as much as you once loved them.

deeper

you cannot motivate people very far on love. nations rise and fall on hate. Love will not sustain an action for a long time without being renewed, hate will burn in someone for years and years without renewal.

look at how far Hitler took Germany with just hate. the allies did not use love to motivate there troops either. They used hate of the evil Germans. hate will drive people to do things that will kill them much easier then love will.

Still i like being in love better, hate is more useful sometimes though if you control peoples hate properly.

Well the saying goes there is a very thin line between love and hate, so yes I reckon it can. Its an emotion after all and there are certainly some people that I dislike.
