If you are referring the process that you need to get married then you should get your marriage certificate at least 1 month before the date. Depending on the state you are getting married in you have to get blood drawn and have an HIV test done and other diseases. They also check for the RH factor in couples to make you aware of birth defects in babies when one of the parents have blood type of RH-

I see that everyone is giving you advice on what you should do fun wise before getting married. I believe that you only know the answer to that, but don't do anything to break your fiance's heart ok.

well, if you were going into the army you would probably do some home training to get yourself in shape for all the exercise...right? Well you should try to do training exercises so you are better adjusted to marriage!

Go buy two twenty pound sand bags. Bury a tape recorder in one of them that constantly plays whining sounds. Include in the tape recording a long list of repetitive annoying whines like "where are my keys? do you know where my favorite socks are? Where's the remote control? why didn't you screw the lid on the toothpaste tighter? what's for dinner?"

Duct tape the whining sand bags to your legs and try to go about your daily activities.

Grab a neighbor and offer to do their laundry and dishes for free, so you can get used to doing twice as much.

Hire a homeless person to come into your home and scatter cups and garbage everywhere every day so you can get used to wandering your house and picking stuff up the second you get home from work.

Practice knowing where anything in the house is at any given moment, because soon that will be your full time job. Have the homeless person occasionally rearrange things and hide things. You have to be mentally alert when things are moved or you will spend hours looking for them. The minute someone needs to know where something is, from now on you will be expected to know. It helps if you have some psychic ability.

Call all your friends and tell them you won't have time for them anymore because you are about to make your entire existance revolve around some big insecure baby that will be bitter if any part of your life can exist outside of him. Just say your goodbyes now and make it short and sweet.


Oh yeah hire a good divorce lawyer and start building your case from the start. I mean, almost 3/4 of the time it won't work out. So just prepare accordingly.
