i find it interesting how most people thought i meant prescription/legal drugs rather than illegal drugs i purposefully left it ambiguous, i feel for those of you that have been saved by prescription drugs as without them i would not have had your view.....

messing with your mind can be very inspiring
Think about all the great music that was written under influence
(e.g. Rolling Stones,Bob Dylan,Jimmy Hendrix, The Doors)
movies that were made(Trainspotting,Fear and loating in Las Vegas, anything by Quentin Tarantino)
And I'm not even getting in to the visual arts.
Could you imagine all those people not having done what they did
My life would certainly be different without them so how about yours.

With out the right drugs I wouldn't be able to walk as far as I can. The drugs now a days are really only re-creations of herbs and things people have been using for a yonks. And as always when used for their correct use they are beneficial but when abused can destroy the user and all around them.

Yes. No. Maybe. I cant decide. What was the question again? Hang on. Great. Yes, that's it. A total shift in human conciousness. There has never been a time when humans didnt take drugs or medicines of one sort or another. So it is one of the factors that makes us what we are today. Man.

They certainly have. Without drugs my daughter would have dies three years ago from 'flu at the tender age of 3 and my son would have dies from an asthma attack 10 weeks ago aged 15, where they managed to resussate him. And my aunty from cancer in the year 2000.
So yeah - in my life they done plenty of good.

yes they have done some good. like weed for example. i know someone, no not me, who has crones disease and had almost have of his intestines removed. he is suppose to take 6-8 pills a day every day for the rest of his life and hasn't for almost 2-3 years. the weed calms his stomach and keeps his stress level down that also helps his stomach not get upset. so yes i am one person who thinks weed is a good drug. as for all the other illegal drugs they have no good effects at all. at least when you want to quit smoking weed you don't have to go through withdraw and your body goes all crazy

Well, of course, there are drugs that have saved lives, made lives livable and on occasion aided in healing illness.
"Recreational" drugs are not really recreational. They will take over your life and mess it up.
