I'm Singaporean but I would like to work in an overseas based offshore oil rig. Are there admin jobs for women onboard oil rigs, vessels, etc.?

yep, you could but you better be ready for what's in store for you. don't think that just because your husband is there that they're going to go easy on you. women in these kind of jobs are subjected to the worst kind of harassment the likes of which you've never imagined. if you think this is a new day and that stuff doesn't happen anymore, then guess again. sure, you're not as likely to get raped as in the past but you will be pushed to your breaking point. they live for that. they will try to demolish you to make you quit. why? because they want to keep it a man's world out there. they don't want women there at all. they want to be able to piss off the side, walk around naked, cuss, talk filthy, among other things. also, don't assume that just because you're married that they'll automatically give you the same schedule that your husband has. they don't give sh¡t about what you want. you could very likely end up on the exact opposite shift and be out there while your husband is home. and once your'e out there, you work 12 hours on, 12 hours off, half the workers are on days, half on nights. they could put you on opposite shifts there, too. and you will absolutely not be allowed to hang out with your husband while he's working and especially not to sleep with him in the same bunk. it's not a honeymoon hotel, it's very small single bunks all together, no privacy. it'd cause a lot of problems between you and your husband for you to be there with hundreds of other men in such close quarters. this is really a sure-fire formula for divorce. you'll be much better off staying at home and getting a normal job.
